Artist Statement
I have a strong feeling for humanity worldwide; and I have a strong feeling for form and beauty. My eye is original while drawing on the rich history of photography. I am a writer as well as a photographer; in some cases the text is as important as the photographs. Serving on photography boards at J. Paul Getty Museum and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Process Statement
90% of my black and white images are from traditional film negatives or slides: archival silver gelatin prints printed by me in my own darkroom. Some vintage color printed in Cibachrome; other color as digital pigment inkjet prints.
How to use our image viewer
Click on any of the thumbnail images to launch the viewer. You can then navigate forward and backward within the portfolio by clicking the left or right side of the enlarged image. Click the add to collection checkbox to automatically add an image to your collection. Image tags or search engine keywords appear below the collections' checkbox and each word or phrase is a link to potentially more image matches.
