Vicente Paredes Gil was born in Orihuela (Spain) in 1972. He graduated in journalism in 1995 at the University of the Basque Country, and the following year studied photography at Westminster College in London. He lives in Bilbao where he works as a freelance photographer.
"My photo projects focus on these realities where the protagonists are outside social rules, not because it is a trend, they read it in a magazine or heard it from their favorite band, but because their instincts, above all awareness, lead them to squat ground to make a garden or marry at 14 years."
