These bodies of work survey the landscape and built environment of Canada and the United States, a vast geo-cultural bloc stretching from circumpolar to sub-tropical latitudes. "By Rail" follows line of infrastructure through post-industrial land and cityscapes. "By Sea" traces a geographic contour around them. Together these projects portray the westernmost front of western civilization between an industrial golden age and the coming era where rising sea levels and accelerated climate change will play a greater role in our world view.
