Artist Statement
The oeuvre of Orna Wertman is characterised by the ingenious manipulation of different layers in one image, each of which layer represents different values. The ultimate image can be a photograph, installation, object, or video. From found objects that fascinate her she creates a new entity which might be both absurd and humorous.
How to use our image viewer
Click on any of the thumbnail images to launch the viewer. You can then navigate forward and backward within the portfolio by clicking the left or right side of the enlarged image.
