Artist Statement
I am interested in covering conflict and postconflict situations and using this content in the artistic explanation of the news events. My latest project, The Shelter, started as classic reportage from the kibbutzim communities bordering Gaza Strip, but eventually turned into an installation, which uses documentary photography as fiction, bringing the local problems to the universal level. I am currently working on a new installation inspired by winter protests in Moscow
