Nina Zurier works primarily in photography and video. Recent work includes a large-scale permanent installation commissioned by UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco for the main lobby; a project using photographs from the Reykjavik Photography Museum's archive published as a book by Crymogea in Reykjavík, Iceland and on view at Víkin Museum Reykjavik October 2015-February 2016. Recent exhibitions include ROK: Recent Wall Pieces at NIAD Art Center, Richmond, CA; El Genet Blau, JiM Contemporani, Barcelona; Negative Space, Steven Wolf Fine Arts, San Francisco; Nina Zurier: Make Me One with Everything at California State University, Sacramento; Nina Zurier: Conditions and Connections at George Lawson Gallery in San Francisco; In Focus: Photography from the Mills College Art Museum Collection at Mills College Art Museum, Oakland; and Is This Enough Information? Nina Zurier/Photographs at Dominican University in San Rafael, California. She received a BFA from San Francisco Art Institute.
