Mohamed Ezz is an Egyptian photographer born in Cairo, Egypt in 1985 and lives currently in Sydney, Australia. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University in 2007, but his passion for visual arts started years before studying engineering, and it was not until 2003 that he started focusing on photography besides his work as a software developer. He tries to capture different scenes taking place in his surrounding community. He draws attention to people and situations from his daily life, the streets, and in different aspects of the Egyptian society, he usually tries to express his ideas in an experimental and conceptual way. He participated in many local and international visual arts exhibitions and festivals, where he received many awards for his work like the golden award at the Emirates International Photography Competition (2009), the golden award from Sharjah awards for Arab photo (2011), the Salon award from the 24th Youth Salon in Egypt (2013).
