Artist Statement
My work deals with the relationship between people and their everyday surroundings. I am interested in the places and situations that seem ordinary but for different reasons are far from it. My pictures of the anonymous surroundings and events of the everyday life always seem to have a hint of melancholy to them. And it looks like everything is good and ok, but it is not. Something is slightly twisted.
