Artist Statement
As an artist, I believe that somewhere between memory and imagination everything is connected by a core energy.
I emerse myself in that which is closeby, the familiar, the ordinary...looking again, closer still, at the particulars of winter vines, a spring branch, or eggs in a nest...these represent to me the remnants of many seasons in our lives.
These archetypal subjects become our links to the places, the people, the things long forgotten.
Process Statement
I use large format cameras and vintage lenses. My prints are made as one of a kind using alternative processes. Often the prints are toned, and hand-painted.
How to use our image viewer
Click on any of the thumbnail images to launch the viewer. You can then navigate forward and backward within the portfolio by clicking the left or right side of the enlarged image. Click the add to collection checkbox to automatically add an image to your collection. Image tags or search engine keywords appear below the collections' checkbox and each word or phrase is a link to potentially more image matches.
