Ina Otzko holds a MA in Image and Communication and a MFA Fine Art from Goldsmiths College University of London and a MA Sound Studies from Universität der Künste / Udk Berlin, Germany. Otzko's artistic practice includes photography, video, sound, installation, performance, text and sculpture. She moves between using analog and digital technology - an exchange that offers alternative ways of reflecting upon time in context of the human life span and issues regarding identity and ownership of the body and mother Earth. Through practical and theoretical methods, she explores the complexities of longing and belonging, memory and experience, realityand representation, human behavior and spiritual ecology. Otzko additionally works as an independent curator and editor, art advisor for private and public sector and produces exhibitions and public art projects. In 2018 she received Twendeprisen for her artistic work and her engagement with the arts. Her latest art project, was the well-received tome, 100 Norwegian Photographers, published by Hatje Cantz, launched in the Norwegian Pavilion at Fotografie Forum Frankfurt in late 2019. She lives and works in Northern Norway and Italy.
