Artist Statement
A photograph is, to me, a way of telling and constructing an autobiographical story.
I combine and present these stories as photographic series that border between the documentary and the staged, the real and the unreal and the past and the present.
I am interested in the relation between memory, photography and autobiography and how those subjects interfere with each other and balance between fiction and reality.
Some of my photographs are based on memories. Some on dreams or stories that I invent to find out what they will be like in the form of a photographs.
I like randomness and I like surprises.
