AMERICAN PRIDE AND PASSION:
A CELEBRATION OF OUR INDUSTRIOUS SPIRIT
The premise for this series of photographs is to share with all Americans the joy and passion I have discovered on my journey of documenting these wonderful people and equipment in this great country of ours. Inspiration for me are values of honor and integrity, displayed by the many Americans who have volunteered so freely their time to help create these works of art. I am basically taking 25 years of technical special-effects photographic knowledge, and applying it to objects that we all take for granted in our daily lives; old cars, planes, tractors, boats etc. and more importantly, including the people who work with these other wise ordinary pieces of equipment. I’m not shooting images of new “toys” per se, but rather whole scenes of regular objects in their environment. I truly believe that beauty is all around us, we all just have to look a little deeper to see it.
