Artist Statement
I habitually think about the shape of world.
Capturing images through photographing gives a attention to how the world staying there. Our daily lives is regarded unexciting. I agree with it. So we tend to come across the exciting event and moment preferentially.
We are watching all of things in front of our eyes.
But we don't see all things in front of us.
Daichi Koda is Japanese self-educated photographer.
He was born in Hamamatsu-city, in the middle part of the Japan main island.
Mainly, Daichi is working in Japan recently for his personal project. He covered the Fukushima after last great earthquake. The series of work about Fukushima were exhibited at nationally and internationally. The works of Fukushima were published as his first photo book BOKYAKU from Mado publisher in Japan.
