Corinna Kern is a German-born photojournalist and documentary photographer currently based in South Africa. She completed her Master in Photojournalism at the University of Westminster in London in 2013. Her long-term personal projects focus on alternative and non-conformist lifestyles captured from an insider-perspective. Through her candid photography, Corinna Kern creates bodies of work that give intimate insights into peoples’ lives on the fringes of society. Having moved to South Africa in 2014 she shifted her photographic focus to human rights issues in Africa.
