My work as a photographer is part of a longstanding relationship that began with modeling. I have been modeling for over 15 years and have had the chance to work with some of the finest photographers across North America and Europe. My modeling experience has helped me with my own photography. I developed an appreciation for film and I like to think I photograph women how I wish to be photographed by others.

I look for emotion to tell a story and reveal the beauty in my characters. Beyond the aesthetic qualities imparted by instant film and long exposures, my empathetic relationship with the person in front of the camera infuses my images with comfortable intimacy and perhaps a touch of nostalgia. I use a variety of film, 120mm, 35mm and a mix of Polaroid.

To turn full circle, I also enjoy working in front of the lens. My self portraiture work allows me to be in complete control of the image, it is therapeutic and I enjoy the challenge.
