Chraïbi Ali is a moroccan photographer, born in 1965 in Marrakech.
He started photography late in life, in November 1995, after a brief introduction to the French Institute of Marrakech.
Two years later, he participated in his first group show in Marrakech, where it is immediately noticed, and was selected to present at the first festival in 1998 Photo Espana in Madrid.
He has since participated in numerous exhibitions in Africa, Europe, North America and South America.
He has been selected in biennials and renowned festivals, such as the Biennale of Dakar, which won the prize "South of the South".
His works have been presented in numerous museums and art centers, including Muhka in Antwerp, the ICP in New York, Miami Art Central and many others.
Very often in black and white, sensitive and humanist, his work always strives to highlight the core values, and to describe with modesty and humility the poor situations of Moroccan people.
His works have also been the subject of numerous publications.
